Upgrading to new glass-walled chaff collector

Upgrading to new glass-walled chaff collector

When upgrading from original mesh chaff collector to the new glass-walled chaff collector there is a calibration change that needs to happen, you need to increase your units fan calibration by 0.06 points. This is how you do that:

  1. Turn off your roaster.

  2. Whilst holding the + and - buttons, turn your roaster on and you will be in calibration mode.

  3. Press the menu button (far right button) until you see ‘fan speed’ and press Start (middle button).

  4. Write down your calibration number in case you need to revert back to a starting point.

  5. Press the + button 6 times (ie. if your starting calibration number was 0.90 for example, it should be increased to 0.96).

  6. Press the start button twice to save.

  7. Turn the roaster off, then on again.

  8. Try a roast.

See Bean circulation calibration for instructions on how to check that your roaster is correctly calibrated.
